After years of exploring holistic health from the inside out, Emma created SISUU as a way to help people feel stronger physically, mentally, and emotionally. With an instinct for presence and a fierce respect for nature, her version of wellness is both grounded and expansive.

How do you start each day? 

Move, then hopefully get salty and then soak in the sunlight. I try to take a moment to check in with myself — set intentions, land in some gratitude. It’s such a powerful combo for me. I’m usually up early as it’s when my mind and body feel the most focused and potent, so I try and maximise on it.

What is something you consume every day that improves your life?

Yes — a few small shifts I’ve made over the years that I think make a huge difference. A pinch of sea salt in water first thing for proper hydration. Holding off on coffee until after movement or training — it supports natural collagen production and energy balance. In winter, I’ll have bone broth with a dash of SISUU Tonic, olive oil, and salt to start the day. In summer, I’ll have SISUU with orange juice after my water. It just gets everything firing — digestion, gut health, immunity.

What kind of physical movement do you practice?


Oooft — I tend to go deep into a movement or sport for a few months and really find my rhythm, then shift gears. Ocean swims, trail runs, strength, boxing — I love them all. Right now, I’m really leaning into strength training & swimming. I had Achilles surgery last year and I’m finally feeling strong again — aiming to feel stronger than before. That’s been a huge mental and physical win. Outdoor movement in general just resets everything — your mind, your mood, and your perspective.

What are your headspace habits?
 
A few things. I’ll often tune into a meditation or breath practice — lately I’ve been using The Way, which I love because you’re not overwhelmed with options of which meditation. It’s simple and grounding. I’ve also had some great mentors who’ve taught me the value of pausing — going to the “balcony” before reacting. This podcast from Tim Ferris really hones in on it. The biggest moves often come from stillness. And then, there’s grit — that reminder that things won’t always feel or be easy.

Is there a tool, product, or practice you swear by?

Ensuring your magnesium levels are strong — especially after training, a big day on your feet, or if you sauna a lot. Magnesium is one of those quiet essentials. It’s used in so many areas we don’t even realise — from surgery to farming — because it’s powerful, and also detrimental if you’re running low. We have a Magnesium Recovery Spray, so I usually rub it on my feet at night. I also keep things simple in the evening: blue light blockers, and an old-school alarm clock so I dont have my phone near me when I sleep. Linked are my favourites. 

How do you like to wind down at the end of the day?

Some of my favourite ways are yoga or an after-dinner walk without my phone. We’re lucky to have an outdoor shower at our place, and honestly, it’s the best. You look up and see this whole galaxy above you, and it gives you perspective. A gentle reminder that the world doesn’t revolve around you, even though it's easy to feel like it does. 

What’s one small decision you made that’s changed your life for the better?

Not waiting for perfect conditions. Whether it’s launching a product, picking up a new hobby, going for a swim, or starting a conversation — taking imperfect action has changed a lot for me. It builds momentum, makes everything feel more possible, and brings so much colour and texture into your life.
