As a Display Host, Daneka welcomed people into Coronation’s display spaces, helping create first impressions and seeing how people begin to connect with a future home. It was a role shaped by detail, presentation and care, but most importantly, by people.
It also gave her an early view of the business from the ground up. Through each conversation, inspection and customer interaction, Daneka began to understand not only what people were looking for in a home, but the work that sits behind creating places people want to be part of.
The more she learned, the more her interest in the broader business grew.
With the support of the team around her, Daneka began exploring where her customer-facing experience could take her next. Her move into leasing gave her the opportunity to work more closely with prospective residents and customers as they considered where and how they wanted to live.
It deepened her understanding of the moments that matter across the rental journey – the first enquiry, the inspection, the questions, the decision-making process and the confidence people need when choosing a home.
It also helped her see the resident experience more broadly. Leasing was not only about helping someone secure an apartment. It was about listening, building trust and understanding what makes someone feel ready to choose a place as home.
Today, Daneka is Marketing & Community Coordinator for Nation Parramatta and Nation Merrylands, bringing that customer-first perspective into a role that sits at the intersection of marketing, resident engagement, events and community experience.
The move has been a natural progression in a business built around long-term living. It also reflects the support Daneka has felt throughout her time with Coronation and Nation – the space to learn, the encouragement to grow and the opportunity to move across roles as her interests and experience developed.
At Nation, the resident experience extends beyond the apartment itself. It is shaped by the way people are welcomed, how information is communicated, how events bring neighbours together and how each community reflects the place around it.
For Daneka, working across display, leasing and now marketing and community has given her a clear view of that experience from multiple angles.
She has seen what it takes to help someone discover a home. Now, she helps create the moments that make people feel at home.
Across Nation Parramatta and Nation Merrylands, that might mean supporting resident events, coordinating local partnerships, helping deliver communications or working with teams to bring community programming to life.
The work is practical, people-led and closely connected to the rhythm of daily life within each building.

“I’ve gone from helping people discover a home to helping them feel at home,” Daneka said.
